About Pacific States University
Pacific States University (PSU) is a non-profit private educational institution founded by a renowned sound engineer William G. Buffinger. It was established as an independent private institution in 1928. The State of California granted it the authority to confer degrees in 1939. Currently, the university holds the accreditation of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). It is also recognized by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). Over the years, the university has made its place amongst the leading providers of high-quality education in the field of computer science and business.
