Studying the International Events Management course at Salford Business School prepares you for a high-level events management career across the globe. From corporate hospitality to music festivals and sports events, the world of events management is fast-paced, varied and ever-evolving. Graduates with professional skills, strategic ability and industry knowledge are highly sought after by employers in a wide range of sectors. You will study at our Salford campus close to Manchester city centre but as part of your degree you will have the opportunity to take part in an international field trip funded by Salford Business School.
The modules on this course are designed to reflect the current needs of employers, so, from the outset, the skills and knowledge you will develop are aligned with international trends and best practice.
On the work placement year, you’ll have the chance to put the knowledge you gain into practice, either in the UK or abroad. Opportunities to expand your knowledge of another culture are also available through the study abroad exchange or the optional language modules offered throughout the course.
