This course is jointly run by the School of Business and Management and the School of Economics and Finance, and is ideal if you wish to pursue a career in the financial services industry, professional accountancy, banking and finance, or management. 

You will examine resource management in the context of today's evolving financial environment, and learn to critique traditional and contemporary practice. Professional skills such as project management, data analysis and quantitative research methods will be developed through innovative, compulsory modules such as international business analysis and management control. 

We offer optional modules focused on applied topics such as portfolio management, computational finance and electronic trading. These modules are specifically designed to equip you with the key technical skills employers look for and allow you to be prepared for industry work.

With free subscriptions to Bloomberg and Eikon Reuters, you’ll be able to keep up to date with the latest changes and discuss them with like-minded peers in lively group sessions.

The Investment Club operates as a micro-fund and provides you with the chance to familiarise yourself with the financial world.

This course provides exemptions towards accounting qualifications offered by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) upon successful completion of the CIMA exams. The registered students will be able to skip 11 CIMA examinations and enter into the Strategic Level (Top CIMA Qualification).
