Wilmington University is a non-profit, private doctorate research university. It was established in 1968 with a charter class of 194 students. In 2007, this university was renamed Wilmington University.

This university offers a variety of courses, including online, hybrid, and flexible courses, in addition to regular full-time courses. An online course allows students to finish the entire course without having to travel to a specific location. In a hybrid course, students will have the opportunity to learn both online and in the classroom. A flexible course allows students to attend class either face-to-face or synchronously online. There are numerous athletic facilities at this university. You can work out in the training room and play sports including basketball, lacrosse, soccer, and volleyball at the university's Wilmington University Athletics Complex.
