The administration of English Proficiency Tests is essential to assess candidates' English language abilities. English Proficiency Tests are used to assess the degree of English proficiency in students whose native or first language is not English or who have not completed at least four years of English education. This is done since English is the language of instruction in the United States, and such pupils will be able to follow the syllabi. Standardised examinations such as TOEFL (PBT), IELTS, and PTE are necessary for international students to submit in order to organise a structural system, whereas tests such as SAT and ACT will be optional starting in 2021.
