Dartmouth College, a member of the Ivy League, was founded in 1769 and is a private research institute affiliated with the University of the Arctic, UPNE, and NAIC University. The institute, which is located in Hanover, New Hampshire, has established itself as one of the best educational institutions in the state.
International students make up about 9% of the total student population. Graduate programmes at Dartmouth include the Tuck School of Business, Thayer School of Engineering, and Geisel School of Medicine, as well as the Frank J. Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies, which was recently founded. Dartmouth University's undergraduate admissions are exceedingly hard, with an acceptance rate of 8.8% for the class of 2024. Dartmouth offers a variety of popular degrees, including computer science, political science, and economics. Undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programmes are available at the institute. Dartmouth's admissions process is extremely competitive, with a 10.4 percent acceptance rate. Dartmouth has been designated as a university with "extremely high research activity" by the prestigious Carnegie Foundation. Dartmouth has a unique year-round calendar, with four 10-week terms that allow students to study, research, travel, and work when they desire. Approximately 75% of students participate in sports, with nearly 25% participating in college sports. There are around 350 clubs at Dartmouth, including Greek groups. Greek organisations are represented by over 60% of students.
Students are also encouraged to participate in industrial tours in order to gain experience. Furthermore, the college hosts student exchange programmes that allow students to visit other universities and gain a better understanding of academic structures. This programme provides students with extensive field experience. More than half of the students take advantage of the numerous off-campus programmes available in more than 20 countries across the world. The Hopkins Center for the Arts, the Rockefeller Institute for Public Policy, and the Dartmouth–Hitchcock Medical Center are all affiliated with the university.

Dartmouth College in the United States allows international students from 57 different countries. International students must have completed a course of study that meets the standards for the various programmes. International applicants and domestic students go through a similar process, with the exception that they must submit some additional prerequisites.
