Arizona State University Financial Aid
- Arizona State University provides merit-based scholarships for international students to study in the US.
- 85% of ASU undergraduate students receive financial assistance.
- The New American University Scholarship is merit-based and offered by ASU for international undergraduate students who have demonstrated academic proficiency.
- College and Departmental Scholarship: ASU has academic departments which offer scholarships and assistantships to its students though the amount and criteria are different department to department.
- Financial Aid for Students regardless of Immigration Status: There are certain other financial aids provided to the students for getting their higher education done in ASU. Following are some of them:
- Private Financial Aid: The Eligibility criteria will not ask you for any social security number of the application, US Citizenship or lawful presence.
- ASU scholarship site would help hunting for any private scholarships. The most common one is The Dream Fund. The ASU Scholarship Portal Application has to be completed and submitted by February 1.
- Budgeting Resources: There is a tuition payment plan in which the tuition fees can be divided into several payments over the course of semester. This allows a student to use different and multiple credit cards and bank accounts. This will help the students to budget their fees for months.
- Federal and State Financial Aid: Lawful status is the primary acquisition for this scholarship accompanied by a social security number that has to be matched with federal records through FAFSA.
- Private Student Loans from SoFi: If a student is a DACA holder or a Non-Permanent Resident and he/she also does not hold a valid J-1, H-1B, E-2, E-3, L-1, or O-, then he must apply for a cosigner who is creditworthy and a permanent resident or US Citizen. Students must call on (877) 936-2269.
