The University of Northampton is a renowned public university with its headquarters in Northampton, United Kingdom. Northampton Technical College was formed in 1924, and with the merger of other vocational institutions, the University of Northampton was established in 2005. The same year, it was granted full university status and the ability to grant research degrees.
