Applicants with other English certificates are required to mail the international admission team at admissions@dmu.ac.uk to ascertain the acceptability of that test. Applicants without English Language test results can enrol in the Pre-sessional English Language course.
De Montfort requires all their international applicants to meet the university’s minimum IELTS requirement of 5.5 or equivalent, with a minimum of 5.5 in every component. However, in the light that the applicant fails to meet these requirements, the university offers them a pre-session English course to be studied immediately before entering the first/second stage of the chosen program.
