The BA/MIA program requires students to have a primary track (8 courses) and a secondary track (5 courses), one each in Economics and Political Science, in either order. The undergraduate requirements are different than those for the standard International Studies-Economics, International Studies-Political Science and International Studies-International Business tracks. The final year of the BA/MIA program incorporates graduate-level course work at the School.
The regional requirement for the B.A. in the International Studies Program is separate from the Eleanor Roosevelt College regional specialization and the School’s country/regional specialization. The courses cannot overlap or be double counted. Please meet with an ISP academic advisor to ensure you are eligible to apply.
Career tracks are designed for students to acquire expertise in a functional area of their choice and consist of five courses from a prescribed list: two required and three electives. Students will choose one of the following career tracks:
