Food, Agricultural And Biological Engineering in The Ohio State University
The Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering offers an MS in food, agricultural and biological engineering. Students work with world-class scientists and researchers in various fields including ecological engineering, agricultural water management and bioenergy. The faculty-to-student ratio of approximately 1-to-6 allows a great deal of personalized interaction, and students can tailor their programs to their specific areas of interest.
Students design a plan of study with their advisors with course work coming from disciplines across campus. There are two master's options: a thesis or a non-thesis. The Plan A (thesis) requires a minimum of 30 credit hours which is a research based program. The Plan B (non-thesis) requires a minimum of 33 credit hours. The Plan B option is most frequently used when students are full-time employees.
