Students in the BS program in biochemistry take courses in a wide array of subjects, such as basic chemistry, the properties and function of biomolecules and the mechanisms of cellular function and living organisms.
Due to the high volume of overlap in curriculum, students are not permitted to declare a concurrent degree combination with either the genetics, cell and developmental biology or the neurobiology, physiology and behavior concentration of the Bachelor of Science in biological sciences.
