About International Business BA Honours in University of Westminster, London
Exciting opportunities exist for graduates who can operate with confidence in today’s globalised business environment. The four-year version of this course includes a year abroad in Europe, Asia, Australia or the USA, giving you a valuable insight into another country’s university business learning experience and broader cultural environment. Depending on your language skills, you can spend your year abroad studying at one of our partner institutions where business topics are taught in English or in the national language. In some cases, you can opt to combine studying abroad with an overseas work placement.
The course will equip you with the knowledge, understanding and academic skills to pursue a career in international business, or continue to postgraduate study. You will also develop the specialist knowledge, skills and capabilities you require to respond proactively and creatively to contemporary business issues and the challenges of the global business environment.
The course focuses on active student learning, through seminars, workshops, problem-based and blended learning, designed to engage your interest and to promote your learning.
Assessment methods include essays, reports, presentations and case studies, as well as time-constrained in-class tests and exams.
Academic qualification equivalents
- HSC XII: CBSE, ICSE, Kolkata, or Tamil Nadu boards with an overall average of 70% or above*
- HSC XII: West Bengal board with an overall average of 58% or above*
- HSC XII: Maharashtra or Gujarat boards with an overall average of 75% or above*
- HSC XII: All other state boards with an overall average of 80%+ or above*
- a recognised International Foundation course from a UK institution or an Indian institution following a validated UK syllabus. Entry requirements vary but we normally ask for between 60% and 65%
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS: 6.0 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each component
- TOEFL iBT : 78 overall with a minimum of 17 in Listening, and Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking
- PTE:54 average with 51 in each component
