The MSc Real Estate Finance and Investment concentrates on the financing and investment of property but also provides an overview of surveying and property issues. You're taught in small classes and have regular visits from professionals as guest speakers and lecturers. You'll gain an advanced understanding of real estate finance and investment and add depth to your studies through examining valuation, appraisal, development and management. You'll also learn how to apply theory to the real world, so you're prepared to pursue your career in real estate finance and investment. You'll develop master's level research and analysis skills and complete a dissertation in a specific area of interest.
Your Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) with RICS begins as soon as you are in relevant employment. It's a fast route to RICS chartered status for graduates you could achieve your APC within three years. Academic qualification equivalents
- a full degree in a majority English speaking country
- or a degree from the UK
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS :Overall score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component
- TOEFL IBT: Overall score of 90 or above, including a minimum of 17 in Listening and Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
- PTE: Overall score of 58 with at least 51 in each component
