About Acting BA (hons) in University of West London
Master the art of professional acting and set your sights for the stage or screen with this course, which offers training that is both exhilarating and exacting.
With the help of leading practitioners, many of whom still work in the profession, you will study a variety of acting styles and be able to critically assess the art form from different perspectives.
In fact, you will experience the best of both academic and thespian worlds at the University of West London. You will learn all the skills you would expect of a top drama school, such as acting for Chekhov and Shakespeare, accent work, singing, mask, improvisation, movement, acting for camera and full-scale productions with professional directors, and at the same time you get a rounded university experience with great facilities, extensive support and a real community atmosphere.
Throughout the course, you will have access to flexible performance spaces and professional theatre venues, as well as rehearsal rooms. In your third year, you will have the opportunity to perform in three full-scale productions, including an agents’ showcase in the West End.
