We make music studies relevant for today’s musicians. Through our modern approaches to composition, performance, writing and production, you’ll develop the skills to shape the future of music. You’ll gain a critical understanding of music across a range of genres and you’ll explore how music contributes to society.
Grounded in practical know-how, the BA is taught by composers, performers and musicologists, celebrated for their work on contemporary music, film scores, popular music, opera and the live stage, and sound installations.
You can tailor your degree to what inspires you most with a range of options. These include ensemble performance, solo performance tuition, songwriting, music history, music technology and media. You’ll study in a great environment for music-making with:
