About Pharmaceutical Science in University of Salford
Completion of the Human Genome Project means that it is now possible to identify the genes associated with many cancers and inherited disorders - this presents many challenges. We are training a new generation of pharmaceutical scientists to meet these new challenges and to apply scientific knowledge in order to design drugs that improve the quality of people’s lives.
