The School of the Built Environment is highly interdisciplinary in nature, covering a range of diverse subject areas including architecture, construction management, energy and environmental engineering. Choose to study over two years to fit around your work commitments, applying what you learn immediately, or study more intensively over one year. Both the full-time and flexible part-time modes of the programmes are delivered on a modular basis with teaching arranged in block weeks.

Our excellent facilities include a dedicated computer lounge for use by our students, equipped with the latest digital technology and software, including: building information modelling, 3D laser scanning, 3D visualisation, virtual reality headsets, building energy simulations and urban microclimate simulations.
