About Criminal Justice And Criminology - BA (hons) in University of Kent

In your first year, you take introductory modules on criminology and criminal justice, sociology and law that lay the foundation for your future studies.

In your second and final years, you build on this knowledge and can also choose from a wide range of modules that allow you to focus on areas of particular interest to you. Areas covered include: the history of the police, victims and crime, forensic psychology, young people and violence, and women and crime.

Academic qualification equivalents

• The University considers students for undergraduate study who have completed Standard XII Higher Secondary School Certificates (Indian School Certificate/Intermediate Examination Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate /All India Senior School Certificate).

English language requirements 

• IELTS : 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 6.0 in R&W; 5.5 in S&L)
• TOEFL IBT: 90 overall (with a minimum of 22 in R; 21 in W; 17 in L; 20 in S
• PTE: 62 overall with 60 in each subtest
