About Meng Engineering in University of East Anglia UEA

Deepen your knowledge and understanding of Engineering, and fast-track your journey to becoming a chartered engineer with our four-year MEng Engineering degree.

For your first three years you’ll follow the same programme as the BEng Engineering. In your final year you will put what you’ve learnt to the test with a multidisciplinary design project.A major team-based project, it will mark the culmination of your study and will encourage you to explore the breadth of your learning in the context of an industrial project. You’ll be given a real brief to work from, and you’ll be encouraged to undertake site visits so that you can develop proposals, which you’ll then present to professional engineers.

​​​Academic qualification equivalents

• Students achieving 70% + in the Higher Secondary School Certificate- Standard 12 will be considered for entry to the First Year of three year Bachelor degrees. The requirement will vary depending on examination board and course applied for.

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS :6.0 overall with minimum of 5.5 in each component
• TOEFL IBT:79  Reading:18,Writing:17,Listening:17,Speaking:20
