This is further exemplified by the QS World University Rankings 2019 in which we rank first in the world for paper citations in Marine and Earth Sciences, third for Geography and fourth for Environmental Sciences. Furthermore, no other university has made as substantial a contribution to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as UEA. Our research is underpinned by excellent, well-funded facilities including the additions of a sea glider facility and an air-sea-ice chamber.
