About Civil With Environmental Engineering Beng(hons) in University of Brighton
Our accredited course will enable you to become a skilled and environmentally conscious civil engineer. You will learn to assess the environmental impact of projects, design environmentally- friendly structures and you’ll develop expertise in water and environmental management.
Fieldwork, site visits, and projects run with our industry partners bring learning to life. You’ll work with students in interdisciplinary project teams on industry-based scenarios, ranging from design briefs to real-world case studies.
You’ll learn with staff active in research and consultancy and visiting lecturers will also share their expertise with you to give you a feel for what the working world is like.
The option of a salaried placement year and the opportunity to learn Building Information Modelling (BIM) will give you professional advantage. There is also the opportunity to study abroad in your third year.
Our Civil with Environmental Engineering MEng course offers an extra year of study at master’s level.
Entry requirements
- Indian Standard XII with Grade: 65% or above
English language requirements
- IELTS: 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
- TOEFL iBT: 72 overall, 18 in writing, 10 in reading, 10 in listening and 17 in speaking.
- PTE Academic: 56 (with no less than 51 in each component).
