About Msc. Engineering Design And Manufacture in Teesside University
This master’s course focuses on key contemporary issues and the future of advanced industrial and product design and manufacturing. The course uses the three pillars of social, ecological and economic aspects of design and manufacture to highlight design as sustainable future-forward problem-solving with real impact on society and culture.
You develop your skills in industrial design and development, prototyping and testing prototypes through simulation, advanced design principles and advanced design research methods theoretically contextualised within cradle to cradle social and economic systems. You generate innovative design solutions that explore real alternatives for the post-plastic generations, underpinned by a sound knowledge of manufacturing and production techniques, and gain a fundamental understanding of project management principles.
You can start your studies in semester 1 or semester 2. Each semester delivers a key mix of innovative design principles and practice informed by team-based approaches and student-led coaching that instils an understanding of theory within practice.
Minimum of 55% or CGPA 5.8/10 from a recognised Indian university; 50% or CGPA 5.5/10 minimum from the following universities: Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Jadavpur or Kolkata University
