Bsc (hons) Marketing (top-up) in Solent University (Southampton)
Delivered in just one year, this marketing top-up course is best suited to those who already have professional experience, a marketing qualification at HND level, or both. This enables students to jump straight into the intensive curriculum.
Students learn from a course team with a wide range of academic and industry experience. Their established industry links have provided past students with a range of exciting opportunities including guest lectures, live briefs and industry assessments. Businesses that have previously been involved with Solent’s business and marketing programmes include Mercedes Benz, Ahmed Tea and Dorset Goodness.
Towards the end of the year, students will undertake an independent research project. This project can centre on a subject of the students choosing, with many using it to springboard careers in particular industries or disciplines.
Students may also take part in national marketing and business competitions. Past students have made entries to both the University Business Challenge and the Pearson RED Challenge.
