Forensic science involves the analysis of biological, chemical or physical samples collected as evidence during a criminal investigation. As a Forensic Scientist you will provide crucial scientific evidence which may link a suspect to the scene of the crime, the victim, or the weapon. The key problem-solving and analytical skills developed in forensic and analytical science are widely sought after in many other industrial sectors including the oil, gas, pharmaceutical, and food industries.
Academic qualification equivalents
- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS: 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
- TOEFL iBT : 80 with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20
Writing - 17
- PTE:56 overall with minimum of 51 in each component
