About Diagnostic Radiography Mdrad in Robert Gordon University
As a Diagnostic Radiographer you will use sophisticated imaging technology and a range of specialist modalities including digital radiography, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, radionuclide imaging and ultrasound. With a Diagnostic Radiography degree your key role will be to provide high quality diagnostic images to aid detection, monitoring and management of the patient's illness.
Changes to the traditional methods of healthcare provision mean entry-level graduate Radiographers are increasingly involved in extended roles including image commenting, image interpretation, report writing, patient treatment and prescribing of medications. These emergent skills require high levels of analytical, problem-solving and research skills.
Academic qualification equivalents
- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS: 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
- TOEFL iBT : 80 with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20
Writing - 17
- PTE:56 overall with minimum of 51 in each component
