About Computer Network Management And Design Bsc (hons) in Robert Gordon University

This is a two-year Honours degree top-up programme for applicants with an appropriate HND. It will equip you with the skills needed to become a professional Engineer or Consultant in the design, configuration and management of computer networks – providing a solid foundation for a career in an exciting industry.

The focus of the course is the underlying principles and practice of computer and data networks; emphasising installation, operation, security and maintenance of computer networks used in business and industry. It includes network technology, project management and security modules, and provides exciting opportunities for gaining important practical skills. ​​​Academic qualification equivalents

• The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.

An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).

English language requirements (one of the below):

•  IELTS: 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
• TOEFL iBT : 80  with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20
  Writing - 17
• PTE:56 overall  with minimum of 51 in each component
