About Advancing Nursing Practice Pgcert | Pgdip | Msc in Robert Gordon University
If you are an experienced registered Nurse or Midwife looking to develop a higher level of knowledge and skills required for specialist and advanced practice, then this course is for you. It will equip you with contemporary knowledge to take forward the rapidly changing healthcare agenda, and make a positive difference.
The five routes within this programme prepare for a range of people and situations to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care at a higher level of nursing. You will explore professional and clinical implications of working as an autonomous practitioner and develop the leadership skills to advance and lead new innovative healthcare services.
There five routes are: Clinical Practice, District Nursing, Health Visiting, Leadership (This is the only route available to International students) and School Nursing.
Academic qualification equivalents
- Any university degree of related subject
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS: 6.5 with minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
- TOEFL iBT : 88 with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20
Writing - 17
- PTE:61 overall with minimum of 51 in each component
