This programme will build on your existing expertise to give you the experience and skills to follow a successful career in biomedical engineering.
You’ll take a compulsory module on engineering methods and learn essential engineering techniques and philosophy. You’ll follow that with a compulsory module on ethics and regulatory affairs. The rest of your programme is determined by the specialism you choose.
Your research project forms a major part of your degree. It provides you with an opportunity to take part in the internationally leading research that takes place within the School of Engineering and Materials Science (SEMS). You’ll join one of our research teams and work on a biomedical engineering related project, supervised by a member of academic staff.
