About Energy, Environment And Sustainability Fd in Queen's University Belfast
This FdSc in Energy, Environment and Sustainability is taught at South West College in Omagh. The rural sector is currently undergoing a rapid change with the decline in importance and profitability of traditional industries, environmental pressures and new opportunities in diversification activities and technologies such as application of renewable energy, production of energy crops and industrial or business applications.
This programme aims to provide students with technological and business skills required to meet these challenges, supporting the move towards environmental and financial sustainability within the rural economy.
Academic qualification equivalents
- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).
English language requirements (one of the below):
