This four-year degree (three years plus a placement year) develops applied computing, interpersonal, communication and IT skills and readies graduates to develop, select, deliver, manage and maintain cutting-edge IT infrastructures and advanced IT systems.
Technology advances at a rapid pace and businesses must adapt if they are to compete in an ever expanding global economy. A degree in CIT gives students a robust understanding across a broad range of information technology subjects.
While this degree is ideal for students who are interested in IT and are keen to learn programming, web development, database design and human-computer interaction, it also requires teamworking skills and nuanced interpersonal interaction. Collaboration and communication are fundamental skills that students must learn to be successful, not only in this degree but in industry.

Academic qualification equivalents
- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS: 6.5 minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
- TOEFL iBT : 90 with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20,Writing - 17
- PTE: 62 overall with minimum of 51 in each component
