About Applied Mathematics And Physics Msci in Queen's University Belfast
This course is designed for students who wish to study both mathematics and physics. Your mathematics study will include both applied and pure mathematics, subjects include analysis and calculus, classical mechanics and computer algebra. You may chose to study a range of topics in physics, including astrophysics, electromagnetism and nuclear and particle physics.

Academic qualification equivalents
- The Standard Indian XII (10+2) examinations from CBSE, CISCE or State Boards of Higher Secondary Education are acceptable for admission to our Bachelor degree programmes.
An average mark of 70 - 85% or higher (best of 5 academic subjects) in the Standard Indian XII Higher Secondary School certificates awarded by the central boards (CBSE, CISCE) or a state board, or equivalent, with 75% or higher where subject requirements are stipulated (comparable with Grade B at A Level).
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS: 6.5 minimum of 5.5 in all four elements of the test
- TOEFL iBT : 90 with minimum marks as follows: Listening - 17,Reading - 18,Speaking - 20,Writing - 17
- PTE: 62 overall with minimum of 51 in each component
