Course Details
This practical course is aimed at creative and dynamic individuals with a passion for modern digital technology. You will focus on the creative application of technology and you will use industry-standard software packages in our professional studios.
You will learn how to produce effective designs, websites, apps, short films and animations while working as part of a production team. You will build a substantial portfolio of work and you will have the chance to develop relationships with future employers at our showcase event, where you will display your final-year project and network with industry professionals.
This course offers the opportunity to take a ‘sandwich’ year – a year of paid employment in industry which will build your skills and experience. This is usually taken between the second and third year of your degree, typically making your course four years in total. Students who choose the sandwich route find it helps with both their studies and getting a job after graduation. It can build your confidence, contacts, and of course your CV. Leeds Beckett advertise lots of placement opportunities and provide support in helping you find the right placement for you.

Throughout the course, you will get used to presenting your work in front of a panel of tutors and industry professionals. Your final year project is displayed at a unique tradeshow event where you can make contact with future employers. Our previous students have found work with Disney Interactive Studios, Sky TV and many digital agencies.

Standard 12th qualifications (CBSE/ICSE or State Boards of equivalent)
Grade: Minimum aggregate of 60% and above
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5
- All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) – English Grade 70%
- Indian School Certificate (Class-XII) (CISCE) – English Grade 70%
