This two-year course is designed to enable foundation level students direct entry into the second year of the MPharm pharmacy programme as well as progression to the BSc and integrated masters in chemistry and the pharmaceutical sciences. The science, practice and clinical teaching are underpinned by the development of academic and professional skills. This is linked to a strong practical element developing your laboratory and dispensing skills. A work placement offers valuable vocational experience and opens up employment opportunities. Subject to meeting the required levels of attainment, and a value based interview for pharmacy, successful completion of this course enables you to transfer to Year 2 of the pharmacy, chemistry or pharmaceutical chemistry undergraduate masters courses. Alternatively you can study for a BSc top up instead.
