About Film Studies - BA (hons) in Keele University

Film Studies is an exciting, diverse and creative area of academic study. Keele offers you the chance to focus intensively on the history and theory of the medium and then apply this in the form of practical work, developing scriptwriting and filmmaking skills. You will learn to employ theoretical, historical and cultural strands of enquiry to analyse both classical and contemporary cinema, as well as making creative connections between Film and other art forms, such as literature and photography. Our dedicated academics are not only passionate about their subject but also actively share their expertise by providing academic comment on various platforms such as The Conversation. 

Academic qualification equivalents

• Applicants must have passed from ISE - All India Senior School Certificate, from AISSC or CBSE boards: 75% and above in 12th grade or from State Board: 80% and above
