About Beng (hons) Computing And Electronics in Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh
The BEng Computing and Electronics provides students with the essential grounding in the design and development of modern electronic systems. Increasingly, computers are networked together within organisations, nationally and internationally, offering access to vast amounts of information. The rapid development of electronic systems provides a background against which engineers are required to pioneer new developments, and to deliver systems that are robust, reliable and user friendly. As a result there is expected to be an intense demand for practitioners who are adept in working in the niche area referred to as firmware.
This is a joint course between the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering and the Department of Computer Science.
