About BA (hons) International Tourism & Hospitality Management in Glyndwr University, Wrexham

This dedicated degree will give you the practical skills and the vital knowledge you need for a career in the Tourism & Hospitality Management industry.

The course is made up of stimulating and thought-provoking modules covering essential business topics, including advanced modules providing a breadth of knowledge and experience such as creating events, visitor attraction management, sustainable planning & development, contemporary issues in hospitality management and human resource management.

Students will:

• Cover essential business topics, before progressing onto advanced modules providing a breadth of knowledge and experience such as visitor attraction management, sustainable planning & development, Food & Drink Tourism, and contemporary issues in hospitality management.
• Have the option to study an industrial placement year.

Academic qualification equivalents

•  India Standard XII – 65% minimum from all state boards.
  •    Diploma from the State Board of Technical Education with 60% minimum (including MEng).
  •    International Baccalaureate Diploma with 28 points or more.

You may be eligible for advanced entry onto the second year of a degree programme if you have a three or four year diploma. However, this will be decided on a case-by-case basis and the content of the course which you have previously been studying will need to closely match that of the course which you are applying for.

English language requirements

• IELTS Academic:6.0 (with no individual skill score below 5.5)
• TOEFL-iBT Minimum Overall: 79 With no individual test score below

              Listening: 17,Reading: 18,Speaking: 20,Writing: 21

• PTE Academic:54 (with no less than 51 for individual skill scores)
