Multimedia Computing is a course that encompasses the technologies behind the creative industry, which is one of the fastest growing industries the UK. You might be interested in studying multimedia computing if you have a passion for new technology or would like to design, test, develop and implement cutting-edge products for the creative industries – anything from video and animation to smart phone or web applications.

The subject areas covered by this course are diverse; they are intended to help you develop skills in technical media production, web development, critical analysis, localisation and digital literacy. 

There will be opportunities to design and apply media technologies, creating and editing video, animation and 3D modelling content that is underpinned by best practice in usability and user-centred design.
