About Applied Software Engineering Degree Apprenticeship Bsc (hons) in Bangor University

Degree apprenticeships provide an alternative route to traditional higher education – combining work with college and university study. This course is designed to allow those who are currently working in the Software and ICT sectors to enhance their skills, knowledge and competence and gain a degree, while remaining in full-time employment. The course is run through a combination of day-release study at Coleg Llandrillo and Bangor University and structured workbased learning. You will develop competencies to a sufficient level to register for the ICT Technician qualification from the IET (ICTTech).

Academic qualification equivalents

  • Minimum of 65% in Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards, some courses may require 75% in that subject area, OR Completion of the Polytechnic / College of Technology Diploma (minimum 3 years in duration)

English language requirements (one of the below):

  • IELTS: Academic 6.0 or 6.5 This must include a minimum of 5.5 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
  • PTE: 56 (51) - 62(58).
