Get a head start on meeting the requirements you need to get accepted into the Royal New Zealand Police College. You will also develop the self-management skills you need to succeed in your training to become a police officer.

You will need to complete the below three courses (60 credits):
Mathematics in Practice (Police Studies)
Develop and expand the students' knowledge and understanding of numeracy through authentic learning experiences in the area of Police Studies in order to meet the varied demands of their personal life, study and intended career destination in the NZ Police.
Communication in Practice (Police Studies)
Develop and expand the students’ knowledge and understanding of literacy through authentic learning experiences in the Police Studies field, in order to meet the varied demands of their personal life, study and intended career destination in the NZ Police.
Pathway Projects (Police Studies)
Progressively apply, consolidate and demonstrate the skills and knowledge developed in this and the Numeracy and Literacy courses through authentic learning experiences in order to meet the varied demands of their personal life, study and intended career destination in the Police Studies field.

Academic qualification equivalents
- All India Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent with passes of 55% in 4 academic subjects
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS : General or Academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5
- TOEFL : Score of 35 (with a writing score of 14)
- PTE : Academic) score of 36
