Maynooth University Department of Law’s Higher Diploma in Legal Studies addresses this need by offering students a strong core of legal knowledge to support more advanced specialised legal topics pertinent to many typical non-law careers.

Course Structure

Students must complete 60 credits over the course of the year; 30 credits per semester. There is no compulsory element to the programme: students select their 60 credits from a wide variety of taught courses. The availability of modules is subject to timetabling constraints.
