Our Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Quantity Surveying is designed for those who wish to embark on a career as professional quantity surveyors. It’s also your first step in commencing the process of becoming Chartered Surveyor. This four year programme is dedicated to the Quantity Surveying profession, a skillset at the forefront of the construction industry.
It manifests itself as either becoming a QS or else becoming an economic manager. Again, the qualification will enable graduates to embark on the process of becoming a Chartered Surveyor.
The profession is at the forefront of ensuring that property owners get a return on investment and receive value for money for the lifecycle of construction projects. The programme, which has been developed in collaboration with industry professionals includes a 12 month work placement in your Year 3.
With an accreditation with the Society of Chartered Surveyors Irelands (SCSI), the degree is also recognised by the worldwide professional body, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Quantity Surveyors are widely regarded as the business managers of the construction sector and the opportunities extend far and wide, spanning property insurance and loss adjusting.
