About Creative Digital Media (ba Honours) in Cork Institute of Technology
Course summary
You will be introduced to the most up-to-date design and media industry software and hardware. The course will also support the development of contemporary critical awareness to assist you in your academic studies. You will be given the opportunity to develop your presentation skills and learn to create innovative creative digital media projects. You will produce projects in digital media design, video production, music technology, computer programming, digital marketing, media business, animation, virtual reality, user experience (UX), user interface design (UI), digital culture and much more!
The BA (Honours) in Creative Digital Media students can choose to do an Erasmus exchange with the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Germany. Graduates of the BA (Honours) in Creative Digital Media can also choose to continue their studies in Germany at Master’s Level 9 by taking the MA in Leadership in the Creative Industries which is a Joint Award. The Award is internationally recognised and accredited by CIT and the University of Applied Science in Media Faculty, Darmstadt, Germany.

Academic qualification equivalents
- Class 12 passed students from a recognized board including CBSE, CISCE or a state board
