Course summary
The Business Administration programme aims to provide students with the technologies and practices which are essential to a modern organisational environment. Students will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of fundamental skills including; document presentation, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, accounting, marketing, management, Human Resource Management (HRM), web design, management information systems, public relations, digital marketing, social media, project management, supply chain management and more.
In Year 3, students undertake a minimum fifteen week work placement/internship. Students have the benefit of an academic mentor from CIT and a mentor in the workplace. Feedback from students and our industry partners has been very positive to date. In many cases students have secured full-time employment as a result of the placement.

Business Administration graduates undertake a wide range of administrative duties and may obtain employment in areas such as administration, marketing, IT, financial and shared services, banking, insurance, media, customer service, health service, local authorities, and fund services.

Academic qualification equivalents
- Class 12 passed students from a recognized board including CBSE, CISCE or a state board
- All India Senior School Certificate or Higher Secondary Certificate/Standard 12 or Indian School Certificate (Year 12) as recognized qualifications
English language requirements (one of the below):
- IELTS 6.5 overall (6.0 for Business programmes)
- IELTS 5.5 in all four components (listening, reading, speaking and writing)
- PTE 60 (63 for integrated programmes)
- PTE 55 in all four components (listening, reading, speaking and writing)
