Although VR has been in professional use for decades, e.g. in the automotive industry and in mechanical engineering, affordable VR devices are only now conquering our everyday lives and living rooms. VR is primarily used for entertainment and games, but can also be used for learning, video telephony and many other purposes. A completely new market segment is developing here that you can help shape as a developer or innovative company founder!

The focus "Virtual and Augmented Realities" combines:
- IT modules related to software development, programming, databases, network technologies, web development and cloud computing,
- Modules around the design of virtual worlds such as 3D graphics, 3D modeling and media technology,
- and last but not least project management, technical direction as well as company foundation and management

The future technologies around virtual and augmented realities have great potential for completely new applications and vacant market niches. In the focus "Virtual and Augmented Realities" (VR / AR), students receive a solid degree in computer science with specialized lectures and numerous projects. The focus is characterized by the unique combination of IT, design and business skills, which enables graduates to develop and market new applications for new target groups. The focus is on private users.
In addition, thanks to this knowledge and skills for graduates, there are also numerous potential tasks - in virtual prototype development, for example for the automotive industry, in simulation visualization in medical technology or architecture, in computer game development, in advertising and PR, in film, even in the military , in research and in numerous other areas.
