In today’s globalised economy international trade and consumer demand are constantly increasing. Global supply chains and business processes are becoming more complex and more diversified.
Thus there is a demand for a new generation of supply chain managers who know how to deal with multi-level value chains, advanced business processes, complex IT structures and multicultural stakeholders.
The students of our new Master’s programme know how to plan, manage and analyse international supply chains and learn about SCM and ERP systems. They extend their knowledge in international law, logistics and process management and become proficient in current topics such as Business Intelligence, SCM 4.0, Big Data and Operations Research.
Thanks to the project- and skill-based approach of the programme, students get to strengthen their leadership, communication and intercultural skills and are prepared for demanding supply chain management positions around the globe.
Content, Objective and Course Structure
The curriculum focuses on process management, business knowledge, supply chain technologies and the development of soft skills.
Students gain a thorough insight into global supply chains and get to extend their team-working, negotiation and presentation skills in projects throughout the semester.
Thanks to the technology- and process-focused approach, our Supply Chain Management students receive a well-rounded and interdisciplinary management education.
