The Best & Brightest Scholarship Program
To empower IT-talented young people with limited means from all around the world to pursue their career dreams in Estonia, EUAS has created the Best & Brightest full tuition fee waiver scholarship program. From every admission to Software Development and Entrepreneurship five students will be selected who will not be required to pay the tuition fee.
A recipient of the Best & Brightest scholarship meets the following criteria:
- Has received the maximum result in the entry exam
- Has a superb command of English and excellent self-presentation skills
- Is from a country outside the European Union
- In case of equal candidates, has relevant prior experience or a portfolio of relevant projects
Helmes Scholarship
The purpose of the Helmes Scholarship for applicants to the EUAS study program Software Development and Entrepreneurship is to help motivated and capable aspiring software developers start their careers at the leading international custom software development company Helmes. For the academic year 2019/20, the Helmes Scholarship is EUR 3685 per year. In addition to the scholarship, EUAS shall provide free-of-charge accommodation for Helmes Scholarship grantees at the EUAS Student Hostel.
The Helmes Scholarship applicant must:
- Have secondary education as recognised by the Estonian ENIC/NARIC centre
- Have English language proficiency at the level B2 or higher
- Successfully pass EUAS admission interview
- Score at least 80% of the maximum in the admission test
- State their candidacy in their letter of motivation
Criteria for admission:
- Internationally recognized secondary education;
- Motivation letter/short essay (30%);
- Admission interview and online test (50%);
- Motivation to study and an entrepreneurial mindset (20%);
- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent proof of English proficiency.
