We have dozens of employers eager to recruit our students for placements, summer jobs, and full-time employment after graduation. Our students are in demand!
We offer a two-year program and a three-year option with the first two years being common to all Advertising students. Students in either stream can choose to graduate with the two-year diploma or continue with the third year to explore more deeply the full breadth and scope of integrated marketing communications; a field with strong job prospects across ALL industries.
There are also numerous opportunities for grads to complete a university degree in less than two years (more information below) or a specialized certificate. Our faculty counsel students on this, based on their goals, interests and target careers. We do one-on-one career counselling with every single student.
All instructors are active in their area of marketing communications expertise and bring the latest applications and experiences into the classroom. We emphasize hands-on, problem-based learning using real community clients.
Our former program coordinator/professor is the author of three of our foundational textbooks on marketing communications.
Your skills will be developed in an Apple-based communications center with access to the latest industry software including MAC OS applications, Final Cut Pro digital video editing software, Microsoft Office for Mac, and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications.
