Theatre Arts in MacEwan University

Think of the Theatre Arts program as a two-year acting, singing and dancing boot camp. We call it "serious fun" and that's what it's all about—working hard, while wholeheartedly embracing the transformative world of musical theatre.

Prepare for solo or ensemble performances. Explore the technical, imaginative and personal aspects of your craft. Train your voice for spoken word and song. Learn dance techniques and movement for actors. As a Theatre Arts student, you will manage a rigorous schedule that balances classroom training with rehearsal and studio time.

Our instructors have dedicated their careers to musical theatre, and with their guidance, you can become a storyteller extraordinaire, spinning tales with words and dance and song.
