Build on your diploma in human resources with the Fanshawe Business Administration - Human Resources advanced diploma program. With this HR certification, you will graduate with all the tools, skills and experience necessary to make an immediate impact within the human resources world. You will enter the workforce ready to contribute and implement your ideas in all of the key human resources competencies. Some of the human resources courses you will study include: recruitment and selection, occupational health and safety and labour relations. This program is available in a traditional in-class format with September admission.
You may apply for the opportunity to substitute two courses for the intensive community consulting program. This program will further develop your human resources consulting skills as you will work with real business clients.

With the opportunity to complete the final three courses for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, you begin your career with the confidence you need to succeed. Students should be aware that the CHRP requirements will be changing during 2016 and CHRL requirements will be changing over the next four years. Graduates of the Business Administration - Human Resources program are prepared to enter the human resources field in all sectors (e.g., manufacturing, health care, education, government). Graduates are suited to a variety of junior-level and intermediate-level positions, including HR generalist, HR consultant, labour relations officer, employment equity officer, Human Resources Information System (HRIS) administrator, pension and benefits administrator, payroll administrator, recruiter and training and development administration.
